All,

I am encountering this issue - and do not know if others are as well.

I am running 3 Docs (1 tabbed, 1 tasks, 1 systray)

I have noticed that if I have an open application , that for whatever reason , is not responding (like Outlook ) that OD will be non-responsive - on any of the Docs

The only thing I can do is to cntrl-alt-del , kill the non-responsive app, and then I am ok.

I would not expect that OD should lock up totatlly if another App is non-responsive.

Anyone else get this problem?

This does happen from time to time since OD appears to spawn some apps within it's own 'environment'. From my limited investigation, it looks like it's dependant on the app being run also - eg SDC gets spawned in its own environment even though it's launched from OD.

I think it would be a good idea if OD could have a setting to permit spawning apps in their own environment, although I wonder what impact this would have on system resources, performance etc?

I'm finding OD 1.3 much less stable than version 1.2.

It freezes much more often (every few days). It's usually just a matter of closing it down in task manager and restarting it, but it's begining to annoy me.
